The previous Daily Chronicles contained shocks and these are still continuing. The massive and destructive earthquakes in Syria and Tukiye, Roger Waters talking at the UN, and the Chinese weather balloon that is in the process of being used as a red flag to a Chinese bull. Yesterday we also saw the Sy Hersch piece on how the US took out the Nord Stream pipelines,(not perfectly done but information that is widely spread). Tucker Carlson had Aaron Matte on his show and I’m sure there are many USAians that are shocked, and just as many who rejoice.

It is a tremendously busy news environment on the whole.  Everyone wants to say something and it is difficult to sort out the sheep from the goats.

As with the previous DOOFUS AWARD and the earlier NITWIT AWARD, we have one more to award. The COCAINE WALTZ AWARD goes to Zelenski, who is preaching a future not tethered to anything real. Zelensky Sticks to His Lines – The current Ukrainian Pres told his nation that in 2 years Ukraine “will become a full member of the European Union.” And that by then, Ukraine will be in NATO already following “victory”.

This messianic untethered and unhinged idiocy is actually very good because it truly helps our own discernment and it is easy to figure out the ridiculous vs the sublime.  The real question is whether the EU or NATO will exist in 2 years’ time.

So we can figure out that the US is now making war on balloons, as they’ve just sanctioned anyone in China that has anything to do with airship and balloon technology after shooting down another real or imaginary little object in space over Alaska.  Ride ’em cowboy!  It’s getting to be fun to see these ones riding the bomb.  Time for Stanley Kubrick!

SpaceX has restricted the access of military drones in Ukraine to the Starlink satellite communications network, said SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell.

Shotwell noted that Starlink was “not designed to be a weapon.”

This is still a rumor but it becoming stronger as we speak.  Mr Putin drew his security team together apparently at midnight last evening.  The expectation is rife, that the Russian nuclear posture is in the process of change.

China is screaming to the rafters after the Biden SOTU address, where he of course made China the Big Evil again.  “As tension between China and the US is worsening due to the US’ hysterical overreaction in shooting down China’s unmanned civilian-use airship, the US military, politicians and media have moved on to hype another issue – that the so-called number of China’s intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launchers has surpassed that of the US. ”

Zelensky is traveling in the UK and the EU.   Will he go back to Ukraine?  Gonzalo Lira says he does not think so but, we don’t know.  Anyway, the whole trip is just extremely bad babble.  It is just another ‘give me weapons or give me money’ trip, this time warplanes because Ukraine is fighting for the freedom of Europe, according to this cocaine-addled scarecrow.

Zelinsky’s visit – as he leaves and after effusive promises, one after the other country says that they cannot give war planes to Ukraine.  So, while he was there, a lot of applause and promises.  Now, they cannot do it.  This story, the whole Ukraine business is changing materially in front of our eyes.   The UK was hot to trot, but they have nothing to give.  Now Belgium is not considering giving Ukraine its aircraft.

I think the well is dry and the penny for Ukraine is dropping.  Insiders admit that any delivery would be so slow as to barely make any difference to the conflict – and questions still loom over when Ukrainian pilots would be qualified to fly them even if they were received – and one UK Cabinet minister told inews, “We haven’t got any f****** jets to give!”

We will see material changes very soon.  Pots are boiling everywhere.  China has just demanded that the sanctions against Syria must be dropped.  And Mao Ning, the very correct Chinese spokesperson is losing her equanimity.  She is always very correct.  She literally spat out this answer in her briefing this morning:

Bloomberg: The G7 member states are said to be discussing whether to sanction companies in China for what they believe to be providing Russia with parts and technology that have military purposes. This is according to people familiar with the matter. That plan also may include moves against Iranian and North Korean companies. What’s the foreign ministry’s response to the G7 members planning to sanction Chinese companies in relation to their activities with Russia?

Mao Ning: China’s position on the Ukraine issue is consistent and clear. We have upheld the four principles and called for joint efforts in four areas as was proposed by President Xi Jinping, taken an objective and just position, made active efforts to promote peace talks, and played a constructive role in alleviating tensions. We always oppose unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction with neither basis in international law nor a mandate of the UN Security Council. China will take all necessary measures to firmly safeguard the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of Chinese companies.

And on Biden’s SOTU, here is her response:  Biden’s threats against President Xi Jinping related to the conflict in Ukraine violate the basics of diplomatic etiquette.
